Covid-19 Response Update 7/1/2020

While New York is slowly reopening, we continue to monitor the effect of Covid-19. Our centers continue to follow the procedures we’ve put out for our staffs to follow. For more information on these procedures, give us a call at 718-338-4597.

Covid-19 Response (06/05/2020)

As New York City starts to reopen, we have established some precautionary measures to help ensure that your children, our staff, and you are safe. Some of these measures include washing hands frequently (every 30 minutes), taking daily body temperatures, replacing outside shoes with inside shoes, daily surface/toy cleaning, and wearing face masks. Give us a call to ask about more information for how we’re dealing with the pandemic.

COVID-19 (03/16/2020)

Dear Parents,

Please be assured that our office is following the developing situation regarding the 2019 novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, and taking the precautions and preventative practices being recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (the CDC) as well as the New York Department of Health. Our staff is committed to your health and will not be coming to work if they are sick. If your child or any family member is not feeling well, please let us know and we will reschedule any sessions missed at a later time. As recommended by the CDC, there are simple everyday penetrative actions to help prevent the spread including:

  • Avoiding close contact with people who are sick.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

  • Use an alcohol-based sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.

Additional information on prevention methods can be found at the following website: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html.

Stay safe and if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at info@kidsalishorizon.com or 718-338-4597.

Thank you!
